REVIEW:

Review of the Dune book:

I read the Dune book and it surely is a great book. This book is a must-read for people interested in fiction and adventure. Having read that book I really wanted to watch the movie when I heard of its making. I was anxiously waiting for its release.

Review of the Dune Movie:

When the movie was released, I immediately watched the highly anticipated movie. It is an action-drama film in which we get to watch a son of a very noble family many thousands of years in the future trying to secure the most precious boon in the galaxy. It’s more like a science fiction movie than action due to a few action scenes.

Performances:

The character portrayal by every actor is so good. The performance of every actor is outstanding. Everyone has done justice to his role. Their body language, impressions, and chemistry are exceptionally amazing. The music in every scene is so well on point. The soundtrack is incredible. There were a few fight scenes that were a treat to watch. The role of the main character, Paul Atreides is breathtaking and his acting has brought flavor to the movie. Rebecca Ferguson was so good. Her role as a mother is brilliant. She was the real soul of the movie. Zendeya’s character was short but beautifully played.

Script and Direction:

The script is so dramatic and nice. The cinematography is also brilliantly done. Villeneuve has directed it so beautifully and has made it a masterpiece. I think it’s the best movie he has ever directed.

Shortcomings:

Its main flaw, however, is that it is a very slow movie. The scenes are so long. They keep on dragging the scenes when not even needed. Although it was a two-and-a-half-hour movie, it felt like a four-hour movie. Some scenes which needed to be longer were made short. Some scenes were like that they were thrown at the viewers and were difficult to grasp. Its ending is so dragging and not on point.  Dune masks a spring promising ever-lasting life or the capability to manipulate others’ minds. Though there are geographical characteristics on the Planet resembling Earth’s sand dunes, there are some rocky hills, mesas, and buttes. It makes more sense as if it were some ROCK. The people interested in science, fiction, adventure, and some fighting movies can watch this movie even though it is a little bit boring in some places.

Jason Momoa movies and TV shows:

Jason Momoa movies and TV shows include Aquaman, Dune, See, Game of Thrones, Baywatch, Conan the Barbarian, Frontier, Braven, The Bad Bitch, Stargate Atlantis, Justice League, Wolves, Bullet to the head, Slumberland and many others.
